ARCS 2009 Sustainable Archives -- Austin Reception Invitation

Reception Hosted by The Archives of the Episcopal Church and
Archives of Trinity Episcopal Church, Wall Street, NYC

The Archives of the Episcopal Church will host this year’s Section reception, which will take place at St. David's Episcopal Chuch in downtown Austin, adjacent to the site of the Archives' future home. The reception will be held on Wednesday, August 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 in the meeting space of St. David's Parish. The Church is within a 7-10 minute walk from the Hilton Hotel, just three and a half blocks north. After a pleasant Texas stroll in the evening warmth, members will be greeted by Archives staff, nourishing food, and quenching drink -- all set in an (air conditioned) meeting room. This will be a wonderful chance to meet and greet, and see a bit of Austin.

In order to ensure that we do not over order food and drink, we ask that you be sure to drop a quick RSVP with your intentions to attend, including guests if any. Suggested donation is $3. (Nota Bene: although the host institutins are realizing the cost of room rental and catering, the donation helps us to pay for gratuities that are not expensable items. Please be kind to those who serve us.) Telephone (512-472-6816) or e-mail your RSVPs by Monday August 5 to David Hales of the Archives staff..
