If you don't have a Yahoo ID, then you will need one. Click on the Sign Up link and fill in the registration information. Write down your “YahooID,” as you will need it in the future if you want to change your status with the list or review archived messages. Don't forget your password either. One of the registration options is to “customize,” which you do not need to do. Also, you do not need to have Yahoo set up an e-mail account for you.

When done, you will receive an confirmation e-mail from Yahoo at your regular e-mail account. Follow the instructions and respond to the e-mail. Once you've responded you will see a link to take you back to Yahoo; click on the link to Complete registration for ArcsSaa-list.

List Membership Registration Process

At this point you will be asked to complete and submit the registration form. The registration form requires you to enter a comment on why you want to join the list. This is a moderated list so you need to fill out the comment. Just enter your name and your place of employment. That allows us to ensure that members of ARCS are joining the list. It is part of our method to reduce spam.

Your request then goes to the list manager (me), and once I confirm your request, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that you are an active member of the list and how to send messages.
