ANNOUNCEMENT: How to join the New SAA-ARCS list (as of April 1, 2009)The ArcsSaa-list@yahoogroups.com is ending on March 31st. This is because SAA is providng us with our own list. It allows us to receive information from the ARCS and SAA leadership and gives us the option to communicate between ourselves.
The list’s new name is : arcs@forums.archivists.org HOW THIS LIST WORKS Subscriptions to this list are automatically managed by SAA's member database. You may view and modify all of your list subscriptions by logging into the SAA website via the following link. From this page, you can also access the Web-based archives for your lists. http://saa.archivists.org/Scripts/4Disapi.dll/4DCGI/person/ListServ.html If you do not know your log-in information, please use the following link to search for your SAA profile and retrieve your username and password via email: http://saa.archivists.org/Scripts/4Disapi.dll/4DCGI/saa/profile/intro.html Your subscription preference is set by default to NOMAIL. This means that you will not receive discussion messages from other section members. You may, however, read and contribute such posts online. In NOMAIL mode, you WILL receive official notices from your section leaders.
CHANGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PREFERENCES If you wish to receive discussion messages from other section members directly via email, please use the link above to change your subscription preference to SINGLE or DIGEST. (SINGLE mode will send messages as they are submitted. DIGEST mode will send them to you in one daily compilation.) If you do not wish to receive official announcements even from your section leaders, including notices regarding section elections, you may unsubscribe from this list via the link above. Please note that unsubscribing will disable your access to the Web-based list archives.
